What documents do I need?

• Uploads must be certified true copies; documents not in English need official translations (by the issuing country’s embassy, a notary public, or private translations attested/notarised).
• Every applicant: a recent colour digital photo, 400 × 514 pixels, white background.
• Passport; birth certificate or household register (only for births not registered in Singapore); marriage certificate (only for marriages not registered in Singapore).
• Education: certificates and transcripts; skill certificates or professional licences; membership certificates.
• Employment: an employer letter dated within 3 months of submission, stating occupation, start date and basic and gross monthly salary; payslips from the last 6 months. Tax assessments for the latest 3 years are listed only if working overseas.
• Self-employed: latest ACRA business registration certificate, and 3 years of balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.
• Family: divorce certificates, death certificates, custody papers and ex-spouse consent where relevant. Parents’ and siblings’ details must be included in the form.
• “Insufficient documentation may result in non-acceptance of your application. You may be required to provide additional documents.”
