Can I appeal a PR rejection?

• Appeals must be submitted via ICA’s e-Service. ICA does not accept appeals in person, by email or by post.
• “You can only submit an appeal if your previous application was rejected within the last 12 months.”
• The sponsor of the rejected application submits the appeal using Singpass; if there was no sponsor, the main applicant does.
• You may upload new documents (with official translations where needed).
• “All appeals are assessed on their own merits … Processing times may vary.” The outcome is sent by email.
• ICA considers the same factors for appeals: family ties, economic contributions, qualifications, age, family profile and length of residency.
