Singapore PR processing times: what applicants report
ICA says applications are generally processed within 6 months if all documents are complete and in order, and that some take longer. In 248 first-hand reports we hold, the median wait was 7.5 months for approvals and 6 months for rejections. Decisions in the first 4½ months were mostly rejections (57 rejected, 10 approved). After that the split was much closer (97 rejected, 84 approved).

What this does and doesn't tell you
- These are counts of reports, not approval rates. People post more after a rejection, and some groups post far more than others, so the mix is not representative of all applicants.
- A quick decision is not a verdict on your profile. But many applicants report rejections landing at almost exactly 4 months; see how long PR processing takes.
- Waiting longer is not a reliable sign of approval either: rejections after 8–12 months are common in these reports.
- Sources: first-hand posts on 10 platforms, including public forums and applicant groups. Only stated facts are kept (no names or quotes). Groups with fewer than 8 reports are not shown.
